Tilba Festival A-Z

You must have a ticket to enter the Tilba Festival. We strongly recommend buying your tickets online before you get to the entry gates so you can get through the entry quickly and easily.

Concession: $5

Under 16s: Free

PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to process cash payments for entry at the gate.

Cash-out Facilities

The Post Office (located at the General Store) will be open from 9.00am for cash advances. However, we encourage you to use electronic payments where possible.

It’s a tricky situation - We’re not strictly ”no-dogs”, however, festival patrons have to park offsite and catch a shuttle bus over to Bate St Central Tilba, and dogs (or other pets) aren’t allowed on the Shuttle Bus.

Therefore we’re no-dogs by default, not design. There may well be dogs around - locals, or stallholders who haven’t needed to use the shuttle bus.

In past years they allowed festival goers to drive into one section of closed road, drop off a person and their pooch, who would walk to the festival gate and wait for the driver (and others) to arrive (somewhat later) on the shuttle bus. This is still fine.

Festival Stalls

Please see HERE for the Festival map and list of stalls.

Festival Program

Please see HERE for the Festival program including the bands performing, street games and kids activities.

First Aid Station

First Aid Services are being provided by Sapphire Coast First Aid. They will be set up in the South Carpark opposite Sweetwater.

If there is a first aid issue or medical emergency, please go straight to the First Aid site (if able) or alert a Festival Volunteer immediately so they can call the First Aid team.

Free Festival Parking is located on the Tilba Tilba Oval. See HERE for details of access and Shuttle Buses.

Road Closures

Corkhill Drive and Bate Street will be closed to traffic from 8.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday.

The closure on Corkhill Drive is between Latimers Lane (Central Tilba) and The Avenue (Tilba Tilba).

Corkhill Drive between the Highway and The Avenue at Tilba Tilba will be accessible to anyone wishing to visit the Nursery or La Galette and for all residential traffic into Tilba Tilba.

Rubbish Bins and Recycling

There will be rubbish bins (wheelie bins) throughout Bate Street. These will be emptied regularly throughout the day. Please speak to a volunteer if there are any issues with bins.

Shuttle Buses

The Shuttle Bus will run every 20 minutes between the Tilba Tilba Oval and Bate Street. The first bus will leave the Oval at 8.30am and the last bus back to the Oval will leave Central Tilba at 4.30pm.

The public toilet block on Bate Street will be in use and there will be a blocks of Portaloos behind the Halls and on Punkalla-Tilba Road, close to the stage opposite the Cheese Factory.

All toilets will be cleaned regularly throughout the day, if there are any problems with the toilet facilities, please let a volunteer know ASAP.

The Tilba Festival couldn’t function without the support of our volunteers. They are there to help you enjoy your day and will be recognisable by their blue volunteer t-shirts.

The Tilba Festival will go ahead in all weathers. Make sure you bring appropriate clothing and supplies for all weather possibilities on the day.
