The Tilba District Chamber of Commerce advocates for the businesses and community of the Tilba District to build resilience, drive prosperity & controlled growth while preserving our unique character.

We do this by:

  • Representing the interests of the Tilba District’s businesses and community to key stakeholders, including but not limited to, Local Government Agencies and other public bodies together with regional business and community groups.

  • Maintaining communication and engagement with Chamber members and the local community regarding issues that affect the Tilba District particularly in the areas of trade and industry, tourism and development.

  • Encouraging, and facilitating where possible, maintenance of the built and natural environments to ensure the physical appearance of our towns.

  • Promoting a holistic and positive image and perception of the Tilba District by driving awareness of our assets, products and services in a targeted way.

At a practical level, we work hard to represent our unique district. This includes submissions to local, state and federal Government on issues of local significance, including bushfire planning. We collaborate with a range of stakeholders on tourism campaigns and promote our district through the Visit Tilba website, social media and events including the annual Tilba Festival.

All businesses that operate in the Tilba District are welcome to become full members of the Chamber.

We also have an Associate Member category, for anyone in the community who would like to be involved in the Chamber’s work.

We offer members placement on this website in the business directory.

For an additional fee, members can also feature on the appropriate website page with the different levels of membership listings available noted below.
